Winter's Undoing - A Poem

Winter is a time for quiet.

Silent thoughts,

Whispered daydreams.

Hushed prayers.

It is meant for contemplation.

As the world tucks herself in,

So should we.

Peace on Earth surely means a portion set aside for us as well.

A stretch of moments

Where we are required to do less and be more.

Light the way, Northern star, halo moon, and crystal breath.

Show me the power of stillness.

Winter is time for reflection and stillness. It is a time not to do,

But to undo. So rest and relax

And breathe in, and then out.
