Hi, I’m Noreen Isotani. a yoga instructor with training in therapeutic yoga, who strives to make it accessible to all, specializing in students with mobility and health issues. Sessions focus on alignment, pure movement, exploration and discovery rather than the pose. It’s at this place where the greatest opportunity for healing and self-awareness lie - a natural pathway to the wisdom of the body’s own process.
In private sessions, working one-on-one with clients seeking answers to root causes of their pain – to make them whole again. Yoga therapy is a gentle, nurturing, non-invasive alternative medicine to allow the body to heal itself - unique to each person, not a cookie cutter treatment plan. For example, chronic knee pain could be a result of three very different reasons.
Group classes are kept small to allow for individual adjustments, modifications, and guidance.
Yoga is not a work-out, it is a work-in…. and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.

I discovered yoga therapy through searching for an effective treatment for chronic hip pain and knee inflammation from osteoarthritis. After many modalities, including physiotherapy, acupuncture and water therapy, I turned to yoga for relief.
This decision changed my life forever. I live pain free, more supple and stronger than ever before.
MY PERSONAL TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
What’s so gratifying is to see clients transform from being overwhelmed and in pain to feeling energetic, out of pain and unstuck - move forward and do what they love. They serve as my best teachers as I continue to learn more about the craft – part art - part science.

2016 – Completed Yoga Therapy Intensive (50 hours) from Functional Synergy under the teachings of Susi Hately
2015 – Completed Therapeutic and Kinesiology of Yoga (12 hours) from Functional Synergy under the teachings of Susi Hately
2015 – Completed Thai Yoga Massage Levels 1- IV under Diane Villa master teacher from Thai Massage Toronto
2014 - Received certification 200 hours from Kula Yoga Studio under the teachings of Colin Mathews and Beth Rutty. Primarily based on alignment, Anusara and Iyengar system.
